I loooooove nice packaging. Walking through the store, I’m immediately drawn to something that has a nice package.
One thing I’ve noticed in grocery stores is that the store brand’s packaging is always inferior to the “big brand” package. For instance, a Kroger soup can is a lot less visually attractive even than the classic Campbell’s can. Why do the generic brands do this to themselves? Is it so that people can recognize the store brand easily? So that they know the one with the bad packaging is the store’s brand? Here are some packages that are doing it right:
