I’m not sure why, but the coming of fall always makes me want meringue. It really doesn’t make sense, because whenever I’ve made meringue it’s been in the summer. The mixed berry pavlova from the Wall Street Journal is the epitome of my summer. My family has made it every year (at least once) when we realize we have a ton of berries that we need to use.
