This week I got the exciting news that I was chosen to be the account executive for the in-house team for Cardinal Comm. I’m so, so happy and so proud. Of course, I’m also a little bit nervous. I don’t really know what fine, little details this job contains. I know I’m responsible for helping the account director with extra work, as well as leading meetings if the account director can’t make it. I really want to do a good job, so I’m sure that my account director will get sick of me asking a million questions about everything.
Next week is Homecoming at Ball State. Since I’m a freshman, I don’t really know what to expect. Last week I went to the Homecoming royalty fashion show. It was super entertaining, but the group of girls sitting behind us were super loud, so I think I left the event a little bit hard of hearing. I really want to go to Air Jam next week. I also don’t really know what that is, but I think it’s got something to do with choreographed dancing and singing. Everyone talks about it and says that it’s the best event of Homecoming (besides the game, of course). I hope that I can find someone to go with me… and tickets.
I bought the book #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso from Amazon this week. I really hope that I like it. I’ve seen it all over my Instagram feed, as well as my Twitter feed over the summer. I’m not sure what to call the book. Is it a biography? A self-help book? An inspirational coming-of-age tale? I don’t know. But I hope I enjoy it.
