One of my favorite memories is going with my grandpa in Cleveland to an old Polish restaurant called Sokolowski’s University Inn. It’s in Tremont, up on a cliff overlooking the Cuyahoga. I remember sometimes seeing rowers from the local university practicing on the river. We’d go and eat until we could hardly move – it’s cafeteria style. I remember always asking for extra pierogies and kielbasa.
